BEN’S STORY
Those early days of my photography journey were tough. I was down to my last $7.35 in the bank and applied for a job at Starbucks a few hours before my last and final interview at a photo agency.
In a twist of fate, they took a gamble on me and sent me on my first assignment for Time Magazine in Iraq. That moment changed everything. It marked the beginning of an incredible career traveling the globe as a photojournalist, cinematographer, and educator. My work has been recognized by World Press Photo, POYi, PDN, Communication Arts, American Photography, etc.
Looking back, mentors were my saving grace. They saw my potential and provided the guidance and unwavering belief in my abilities that I needed to thrive. Now, my mission is to help aspiring photographers like you skip the trial and error and reach your goals faster.

MARVI’S STORY
Imagine this: I hit the road from California to New York with just $1500 in savings and my friend’s couch to sleep on. No clue how to make it as a photographer, but I felt in my bones that this was my path.
Started self-assigning projects, pestering seasoned photographers and editors for advice. And within months, I got signed! Became one of the first two women exclusively represented by one of the biggest photo agencies in NY and traveled domestically and internationally for clients like Time, Newsweek, New York, Stern, Paris Match and the New York Times.
From photojournalism to advertising photography and even directing ads for companies like Sony and American Express, my journey has been thoroughly rich and fulfilling. But the real game-changer? Mentors. They've shaped my path and fueled my passion to guide the next generation.
